Full Score
Murray Adaskin’s Algonquin Symphony, commissioned by the CBC in 1956, was in part inspired by Tom Thomson’s work. The Adaskins had a cottage on Canoe Lake, where Murray Adaskin composed during the fifties, sixties, and seventies, and the Adaskins were closely associated with Taylor Stratten and life at Camp Ahmek.
